    From Toulon, take bus line 878 towards Saint-Tropez, which passes through Bormes-les-Mimosas. Get off at the 'Le Pin' bus stop. From there, connect to the local bus service that takes you closer to Fort de Brégançon. From the bus stop, you will still need to take the minibus shuttle to the fort entrance. A single bus ticket costs €2.10.

  • Driving

    From Bormes-les-Mimosas, follow signs towards Cap Bénat and then Cabasson. There is a designated parking area near Plage de Cabasson. From the parking area, visitors must board an electric minibus shuttle to reach the fort entrance (2.5km). It is strictly forbidden to walk from the parking area to the fort. Parking costs vary, but expect to pay around €5-€8 for a few hours. The minibus is included in the tour ticket.

Fort de Brégançon, a historic monument, sits on a rocky peak 35 meters above the Mediterranean Sea, near Bormes-les-Mimosas. Its strategic location has been recognized since the 6th century BCE when it was a Ligurian oppidum. It gained prominence in 1968 when General de Gaulle designated it as the official presidential residence.
