Getting There

  • Funicular

    From Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the main access point to Les Arcs, take the funicular to Arc 1600. The funicular station is located at the end of the platforms at the Bourg-Saint-Maurice SNCF station. The ride takes about 7 minutes. A single ticket costs €3 for adults and €2.50 for children. The funicular is free for pedestrians and paragliders. If you have a valid ski pass, the funicular is also free.

  • Bus

    From Arc 1600, free shuttle buses connect to Arc 1800, Arc 1950, and Arc 2000. These buses run frequently throughout the day. Alternatively, taxis are available from Bourg-Saint-Maurice to all the villages. A taxi from Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Arc 1600 costs approximately €50, to Arc 1800 costs €60, and to Arc 1950 costs €75.
