Start at the Strasbourg main train station (Gare de Strasbourg). From there, take tram line B towards 'Rives de l'Aa.' Get off at 'Rives de l'Aa' stop. Next, transfer to bus line 1 towards 'Kehl Bahnhof.' Get off at the 'Kehl Bahnhof' station. From here, you will need to take regional train S1 towards 'Bühl.' After about 35 minutes, you will arrive at 'Bühl' station. From Bühl station, exit and take bus line 201 towards 'Hochkopf.' Get off at 'Hochkopf' stop, and you will find yourself at the base of the mountain peak.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike in Strasbourg and head towards the Rhine River. Follow the cycle path along the river towards Kehl. Once you reach Kehl, continue to Bühl by following the signs or using a map application. The route is approximately 20 kilometers and offers beautiful views along the way. Once in Bühl, you can navigate towards the Hochkopf by local roads or trails that lead to the peak.

Walking to Hochkopf from Strasbourg is a lengthy journey but can be done if you're up for an adventure. Start from the city center and head towards the Rhine River. Walk along the riverbank towards Kehl. After reaching Kehl, continue walking towards Bühl. The distance is around 30 kilometers and will take several hours. Once you reach Bühl, you will need to find your way to the base of Hochkopf, which may involve local paths or roads.
