The Panoramaweg Baden-Baden is a 45.5 km hiking trail that loops around the city, offering breathtaking views of the Black Forest, the Rhine Valley, and even Strasbourg on clear days. Awarded as Germany's most beautiful hiking trail, it's divided into four stages, with the first stage being the most popular.

Walking
From the Baden-Baden city center, the Panoramaweg is easily accessible by foot. Starting near the Caracalla Spa, follow Paracelsusweg, a lane behind the spa, and ascend the steps to Schloßstraße. This initial climb leads you towards the New Castle, marking the beginning of the trail. Allow approximately 20 minutes to reach the Hungerberg from the old town, where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views. Cost: Free
Public Transport
To reach the Panoramaweg from the Baden-Baden train station, take bus lines 201E, 201, 244, 218, X45 or 213 to Leopoldsplatz in the city center. From there, you can walk to the starting point of the trail near the Caracalla Spa. Cost: A single bus fare is approximately €3.10.
Taxi
A taxi from the Baden-Baden train station to the city center, near the start of the Panoramaweg, takes approximately 10-12 minutes. Cost: The estimated fare is between €30 and €55.
