Getting There

  • Walking

    From the European Quarter, head towards the Palais de l'Europe, which is easily recognizable. Once you reach the Palais, continue straight onto Rue de la Laiterie. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Rue du 22 Novembre. Turn right onto Rue du 22 Novembre, and you will see signs pointing towards Grande-Île. Keep walking straight, and you will soon arrive at Grande-Île de Strasbourg. The total walking distance is approximately 1 km, taking around 15-20 minutes.

    Locate the nearest tram station, which is likely to be 'Pomme de Pin' or 'Lycée Kléber' depending on your exact location in the European Quarter. Take tram line A (the red line) in the direction of 'Illkirch Lixenbuhl' or tram line D (the yellow line) in the direction of 'Aristide Briand'.
