Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Strasbourg Cathedral, head southeast on Place de la Cathédrale toward Rue Mercière. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue des Tonneliers. Turn right onto Rue des Tonneliers and walk until you reach Place du Marché-aux-Charbonniers. Here, you will find a bridge over the canal. Cross the bridge, and you will be on the path along the Canal du Faux-Rempart.

    Take Tram Line A or D from the 'Strasbourg - Gare' station. Get off at 'Lycée Couffignal' station. From there, walk north along Rue du Faubourg de Pierre for about 300 meters. Turn left onto Rue de la Division Leclerc, and continue straight until you reach the Canal du Faux-Rempart. The canal will be on your right.
