You can take the metro line A to get there, heading towards Basso Cambo, and get off at the Matabiau station. From Matabiau, purchase a ticket for the train towards Carcassonne or Castres. Make sure to check the schedule for the next available train. The journey to Avignonet-Lauragais will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Avignonet-Lauragais station, exit the station and walk north for about 15 minutes along Rue de la Gare until you reach Port Lauragais, which will be located on your left.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the city center of Toulouse, make your way to the Jeanne d'Arc bus station. You can reach it by taking metro line B to Jeanne d'Arc. At the bus station, look for the bus line that heads to Avignonet-Lauragais. This is usually the bus number 370. Once you board the bus, it will take approximately 45 minutes to reach Avignonet-Lauragais. Upon arrival, disembark at the Avignonet-Lauragais stop, and you will find Port Lauragais just a short 10-minute walk to the northwest along Avenue du Canal.
