Getting there

Walking

From the Tours train station, Gare de Tours, walk north along Avenue de Grammont. Continue onto Rue de Bordeaux, then turn left onto Rue de la Scellerie. Turn right onto Place de la Résistance, then continue onto Avenue André Malraux. The Château de Tours will be on your left, approximately a 15-20 minute walk. No costs involved.

Public Transport

From the Gare de Tours, take the tram Line A towards Lycée Jean Monnet. Get off at the 'Palais des Congrès' stop. From there, walk along Avenue André Malraux for about 5 minutes. The Château de Tours will be on your right. A single tram ticket costs around €1.60.

Taxi/Ride-Share

From the Gare de Tours, a taxi or ride-share to the Château de Tours will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around €8-€12. The route is direct via Avenue de Grammont and Avenue André Malraux.
