The 28-hectare vineyard, situated in the Saint Georges valley, produces a full range of Vouvray wines. The estate vinifies each terroir separately, blending them after tasting to create its distinct wines.Visitors can explore the 11th-century troglodytic cellars, offering a glimpse into the region's winemaking heritage. Domaine Le Capitaine produces a range of Vouvray wines, including dry, semi-dry, and sweet varieties, as well as sparkling wines made using the traditional method. The winery has received the Loire Valley Quality Cellars label.Beyond wine tasting, Domaine Le Capitaine offers other wine-related activities. The winery welcomes visitors during opening hours, but appointments are recommended.
