Walking
If you are in the center of Tours, start at the Place Plumereau, a popular square. From there, head south on Rue de la Monnaie, and turn left onto Rue du Commerce. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Boulevard Béranger. Cross Boulevard Béranger and continue straight onto Rue de l'Université. Follow this road until you see the sign for La Loire on your left. Go towards the river and walk along the banks, enjoying the scenic views. After about 10 minutes, you will see a small park called Parc de la Préfecture. France with Vero is located just a short walk from there. The exact location is approximately 1.5 km from Place Plumereau.
Public Transport
From Tours city center, walk to the nearest tram stop at Place de la Liberté. Take Tram Line A towards Tours - Les Deux-Lions. Get off at the stop called 'Jean Jaurès'. From there, transfer to Bus Line 1 towards 'Château de Villandry'. Get off at the stop named 'Gare de Tours'. From the train station, it is about a 20-minute walk: exit the station, cross over to Rue des Halles, then follow the signs towards the Loire River. Once you reach the river, head east along the banks until you arrive at Parc de la Préfecture, located near France with Vero.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike at one of the many bike rental stations in Tours. Start at the central bike station near Place Plumereau and head towards Rue de la Monnaie. Follow the bike lanes along Rue de l'Université. Continue straight until you reach the Loire River. Cycle along the riverbanks, enjoying the beautiful views of the water. After about 15 minutes of cycling, you will arrive at Parc de la Préfecture, which is very close to France with Vero.
