Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Palace of Versailles, exit the palace grounds through the main gate. Once outside, walk straight ahead towards the entrance of the Gardens of Versailles. Enter the gardens and follow the path towards the Grand Canal. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection where you can see the Apollo Fountain on your right. Continue walking along the main path, and you will eventually see signs directing you towards the Colonnade Grove (Bosquet de la Colonnade). It will be on your left side, surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens.

    If you are coming from the Versailles Rive Gauche train station, exit the station and walk towards the Avenue de Paris. Continue walking straight until you reach the Place d'Armes, where the Palace of Versailles is located. Enter the palace grounds and make your way towards the gardens as described above. Follow the same route through the gardens towards the Colonnade Grove.

    From the Versailles Market (Marché de Versailles), head southwest on Rue de la Paroisse towards Rue des Réservoirs.
