The walk from the palace entrance to the North Terrace is approximately 10-15 minutes. Consider that the gardens are not easily accessible for people with reduced mobility. Visitors are strongly advised to arrive either by car, and park at the Flotille or Neptune car park.

From Paris, take the RER C train to Versailles Château Rive Gauche station. From the station, it's approximately a 13-minute walk to the Palace of Versailles. Enter the palace grounds and follow the signs to the gardens and the North Terrace, where Les Petits Trains du Parc de Versailles is located. A standard RER ticket from Paris to Versailles costs approximately €7. Alternatively, SNCF trains from Gare Montparnasse or Gare Saint-Lazare connect directly to other Versailles stations.
