From the Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station, take the RER C train towards Paris. Get off at the Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel station. Once you exit the station, head east towards the Seine River. Cross the river using the Pont Alexandre III bridge. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the Rue de la Manutention. Turn right on Rue de la Manutention, then left onto Avenue de la Bourdonnais. Walk straight until you reach the Rue Raynouard; the Maison de Balzac will be located at 47 Rue Raynouard on your left.

If you prefer walking from the center of Versailles, start at the Place d'Armes, located near the Palace of Versailles. Walk straight towards the Avenue de Paris and continue until you reach the Rue de Montreuil. Turn left onto Rue de Montreuil and follow it as it becomes Rue de la Paroisse.
