Getting There

Walking
From the Palace of Versailles, head southeast towards Avenue de Paris. Continue straight until you reach the RER C train station, Versailles Château Rive Gauche. Board the train towards Paris and get off at the next stop, which is Paris - Musée d'Orsay. From there, walk towards the nearby RER C line at the Musée d'Orsay station. Take the RER C train towards Pontoise and get off at the next stop, which is Saint-Michel Notre-Dame. Transfer to RER B towards Robinson and get off at Gare du Nord. From Gare du Nord, transfer to Metro Line 2 towards Porte Dauphine. Get off at the Anvers station. Exit the station and walk north on Rue des Martyrs, then turn right onto Rue de Steinkerque. Montmartre will be straight ahead.

From the Palace of Versailles, walk to the nearby bus stop located at Place d'Armes. Take Bus 171 towards La Verrière. After a short ride, get off at the station 'Gare de Saint-Cyr'. From there, transfer to the train heading towards Paris Montparnasse. Get off at Montparnasse and walk to the Montparnasse Bienvenüe Metro station. Take Metro Line 4 towards Porte de Clignancourt and get off at the Barbès - Rochechouart station. From there, walk towards the Rue des Martyrs and head north to reach Montmartre.
