Getting There

Walking
From the center of Versailles, head towards the Versailles Rive Gauche train station. Once you arrive at the station, take the RER C train towards Paris. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the Gare d'Austerlitz station in Paris. From Gare d'Austerlitz, exit the station and walk towards the River Seine. Cross the river using the Pont d'Austerlitz bridge. Once you are on the other side, continue straight until you reach the Place de la Bastille. The Opéra Bastille will be on your right.

Start at the Versailles Rive Gauche train station. Purchase a ticket for the RER C train heading to Paris. Board the train, and after about 30 minutes, disembark at the Gare d'Austerlitz. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the Rue de Bercy, and walk towards the Seine River. From there, cross over the Pont d'Austerlitz bridge. After crossing, keep walking straight until you reach the Place de la Bastille. The Opéra Bastille is located at this square.
