Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Versailles, start at the Château de Versailles. Head east on Avenue de Paris towards Rue de la Paroisse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Réservoirs. Turn right onto Rue des Réservoirs and then take the first left onto Rue de l'Indépendance Américaine. Walk until you reach the Versailles Rive Gauche train station (Gare de Versailles Rive Gauche). From there, take the RER C train towards Paris Saint-Michel. Get off at the Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame station. Transfer to the RER B train towards Roissy-en-France and get off at Châtelet - Les Halles. Finally, transfer to the Metro Line 1 towards La Défense and get off at Palais des Congrès station. From the station, it's a short walk to Palais Garnier located at Place de l'Opéra.

    From Versailles, make your way to the Versailles Rive Droite train station. Board the Transilien train (Line L) towards Paris Saint-Lazare. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Paris Saint-Lazare, exit the station and head towards the Rue de Rome exit. From there, walk towards the Rue de la Pépinière and continue straight until you reach Place de l'Opéra.
