Train
From Versailles Château Rive Gauche station, take the RER C train towards Paris. You will travel for about 20 minutes. Get off at the Saint-Michel Notre-Dame station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the RER B line and transfer to the RER B towards Paris. This will take you to the Châtelet – Les Halles station. From there, transfer to the Metro Line 1 towards La Défense and get off at Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre station. Finally, exit the station and walk towards the west along Rue de Richelieu until you reach the Palais Garnier located at Place de l'Opéra.

Bus
You can take bus number 171 from the Versailles Gare Rive Droite bus stop. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Pont de Sèvres stop. From here, transfer to Metro Line 9 at the Pont de Sèvres station and head towards Mairie de Montreuil. Get off at the Strasbourg – Saint-Denis station and transfer to Metro Line 8 towards Balard. Travel until you reach the Opéra station, which is just a short walk from Palais Garnier.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing services available in Versailles. Start from the city center and head towards the Seine river, following the riverbank path towards Paris. Once you reach the Pont de Sèvres, continue north towards the Opéra area. It is approximately a 15 km ride and will take about an hour. Make sure to follow bike lanes and watch for pedestrian traffic.

For those who enjoy walking, you can take a leisurely stroll from the center of Versailles. Start at the Palace of Versailles and walk through the gardens towards the Grand Canal. Continue north through the Parc de Versailles towards the Seine. Follow the riverbank until you reach the Pont de Sèvres. From there, walk north through the streets until you arrive at Palais Garnier. This scenic route is about 8 km and can take around 2 hours.
