From the Palace of Versailles, head east on Rue de l'Indépendance Américaine. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Paroisse. Turn right onto Rue de la Paroisse and walk towards the main square. As you reach Place d'Armes, you'll see the Palace on your left. Cross the square and head towards the train station, Gare de Versailles Château Rive Gauche. From the station, take the RER C train towards Paris. Get off at the 'Paris - Champs de Mars' station. From there, walk towards the Seine River and head northeast towards the Rue de Monttessuy. Follow the street until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Bourdonnais and then take a left onto Rue de Monttessuy. Walk straight to reach the Eiffel Tower. This journey will take approximately 40 minutes.
Train
From the Palace of Versailles, walk to the Gare de Versailles Château Rive Gauche, located about a 10-minute walk from the palace. Purchase a ticket to Paris. Board the RER C train towards Paris (direction 'Pontoise'). The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Gare d'Austerlitz' station in Paris, exit the station and walk towards the nearest metro station, 'Austerlitz'. Take Metro Line 5 (the orange line) towards 'Bobigny - Pablo Picasso' and get off at the 'Bastille' station. From Bastille, walk northeast on Boulevard Richard Lenoir until you reach the Place Edith Piaf in the 20th arrondissement. The total travel time will take around 60 minutes.
Bus
From the Palace of Versailles, walk to the nearest bus stop 'Château Versailles'. Take the Bus Line 171 towards 'Gare de Versailles Rive Droite'. Get off at the 'Gare de Versailles Rive Droite' stop. From there, take the RER C train towards Paris. Get off at 'Gare d'Austerlitz'. After exiting the station, walk towards the nearest bus stop and take Bus Line 91 towards 'Gare de Lyon'. Get off at 'Place Edith Piaf'. The entire journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
