If you are starting from the Château de Versailles, exit the palace grounds and head towards the 'Gare de Versailles Rive Gauche'. From there, take the RER C train towards 'Paris - Saint-Michel'. After about 30 minutes, disembark at 'Châtelet - Les Halles'. From the train station, follow the signs to the 'Rue du Rivoli' exit. Once outside, walk straight along 'Rue du Rivoli' until you reach 'Place Joachim du Bellay', and the Fontaine des Innocents will be on your left.
