From the center of Versailles, head towards the Rive Gauche train station (Gare de Versailles Rive Gauche). This is where you can catch a train to Paris. The station is located about a 15-minute walk from the Palace of Versailles. Once you arrive at the station, purchase a ticket to Gare de l'Est in Paris. The train ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Gare de l'Est, follow the signs to exit the station and you will find yourself on Rue du 8 Mai 1945.
