Bus
From the Palace of Versailles, walk to the nearest bus stop called 'Château Versailles'. Take Bus number 171 towards 'Gare de Versailles Chantiers'. Travel for about 12 stops and get off at 'Place de l'Invalides'. From there, walk east on Rue de l'Université, then turn right onto Rue de Varenne. Continue for about 400 meters until you reach Hôtel de Matignon at 57 Rue de Varenne.
Train
Start at the Palace of Versailles and walk to the RER C station 'Versailles Château Rive Gauche'. Board the RER C train heading towards 'Paris Austerlitz'. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the 'Invalides' station. Once you exit the station, walk east on Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg, then take a left onto Rue de Varenne. Continue for 600 meters, and you will arrive at Hôtel de Matignon, located at 57 Rue de Varenne.
