Walking
From the Palace of Versailles, head east on Rue de l'Indépendance Américaine toward Rue de la Paroisse. Continue straight onto Avenue de Paris. After a few minutes, you will reach the main road, Avenue de Saint-Cloud. Follow this road until you reach the RER C station at Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche. Take the RER C train towards Paris and get off at the stop 'Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel'. From there, walk towards the Seine River, and follow the signs to the 'Pl. Charles de Gaulle', which is approximately a 15-minute walk.
Public Transport
Start at the Versailles Chateau Rive Gauche station. Take the RER C train towards Paris. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel' station. Exit the station and head towards the Seine River. From there, follow the signs to 'Pl. Charles de Gaulle'. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the station.
Bus
From the Palace of Versailles, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Château Versailles'. Take bus line 171 towards 'La Verrière'. Change at 'Rueil-Malmaison - Gare RER' for bus line 82 towards 'Charles de Gaulle - Étoile'. Get off at 'Charles de Gaulle - Étoile', and you will be at 'Pl. Charles de Gaulle'.
