Walking
From the Palace of Versailles, exit the gardens and head towards the main entrance. Once you reach the main road (Avenue de Paris), turn left. Walk straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the RER C station called 'Versailles Château-Rive Gauche'. Take the RER C train towards Paris. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame' station. From there, follow the signs to Place Saint-Michel, which is within a 5-minute walking distance.
Bus
From the Palace of Versailles, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenue de Paris. Take Bus Line 171 towards 'Saint-Cyr - Les Pyramides' and get off at the 'Versailles Château' stop. Transfer to Bus Line 24 towards 'Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame'. After a ride of about 45 minutes, you will arrive at Place Saint-Michel. The bus stop will be a short walk from the square.
Train
Start at the Versailles Château-Rive Gauche station. Board the RER C train towards Paris. After about 30 minutes of travel, disembark at 'Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame' station. Exit the station and follow the signs to Place Saint-Michel, which is just a short 5-minute walk away.
