Getting There

Walking
If you are in the central area of Versailles, head towards the Avenue de Paris. Walk along this avenue until you reach the Place d'Armes, where the iconic Palace of Versailles is located. From there, continue straight onto the Rue de la Paroisse, which will lead you to the train station, Gare de Versailles-Rive-Gauche. Board the train towards Paris and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you arrive at the Gare de Paris-Montparnasse, exit the station and take the Metro Line 12 towards Mairie d'Issy. After three stops, get off at the station 'Madeleine'. From there, walk towards Rue de la Victoire, and you will arrive at Place des Victoires.

Start at the Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station, which is accessible from most central locations in Versailles. Take the train to Paris, specifically to Gare Saint-Lazare. Once you arrive, transfer to Metro Line 3, heading towards Gallieni. After four stops, get off at the 'Sentier' station. After exiting the station, walk north along Rue du Faubourg Montmartre until you reach Rue de la Victoire. Follow Rue de la Victoire until you arrive at the Place des Victoires. The total journey may take around 45 minutes.
