Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Versailles, head southeast towards Rue de la Paroisse and turn left onto Rue de la Paroisse. Continue straight until you reach Place d'Armes. Here, you will see the stunning Palace of Versailles. Walk past the palace, and follow the signs towards the RER station. Once you reach the Versailles Château Rive Gauche RER station, take the RER C train towards Paris. Get off at the station called Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel. From here, walk towards the Seine River, and you will see the Pont de Bir-Hakeim bridge ahead, which is about a 10-minute walk.

  • Bus

    From the Palace of Versailles, head to the bus stop located at the entrance of the palace, called 'Versailles Palace'. Take bus line 171 towards 'Porte de Saint-Cloud'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Bir-Hakeim'. From there, you are just a short walk to the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, which should take you about 5 minutes.

  • Train and Walking

    Start at the Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station. Take the RER C train towards Paris. Ride for about 30 minutes, then disembark at Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel station. After exiting the station, head west towards the Seine River. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the river until you reach the Pont de Bir-Hakeim. This walk takes about 10 minutes.
