Walking
If you are in the central area of Versailles, start at the Palace of Versailles. Exit the palace grounds and head towards the main entrance, the 'Cour des Princes.' Once outside, turn left onto Avenue de Paris. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, known as Place d'Armes. From there, take the second exit onto Avenue de Saint-Cloud. Follow this avenue until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Indépendance Américaine. Here, turn right onto Rue de l'Indépendance Américaine and continue walking straight. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach Place Hoche. The statue is located at the center of the square, which is surrounded by lovely cafes and shops.
Public Transport
If you prefer to use public transport, start at the Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche train station. From the station, head towards the exit and turn left onto Rue de Montreuil. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the bus stop 'Château' on Avenue de Paris. Take Bus Line 10 towards 'Château de Versailles.' After 3 stops, get off at 'Place Hoche.' You will find the statue right in the center of the square.
