From the Palace of Versailles, exit the palace grounds and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, walk to the Versailles Rive Gauche train station, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. At the station, take the RER C train towards Paris. After about 30 minutes, alight at the Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel station. From there, transfer to the RER C line in the direction of Pontoise and get off at the next stop, which is the Invalides. From the Opéra station, walk approximately 15 minutes along Rue de la Paix and through Place Vendôme to reach 12 Av. de Friedland, where the Statue Honoré de Balzac is located.
