From Invalides, transfer to Line 8 of the Metro towards 'Balard'. Get off at 'Étoile' station. Exit the station and walk towards the Arc de Triomphe, which is located at Place Charles de Gaulle. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located directly beneath the Arc de Triomphe.

From the center of Versailles, find the bus stop for the 'Versailles - Paris' bus line (Line 171). Board the bus heading towards 'Paris - Pont de Sèvres'. After about 35 minutes, get off at the 'Charles de Gaulle - Étoile' stop. Walk towards the Arc de Triomphe, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located directly under it.
