Lac de Lispach is a charming lake nestled in the Vosges Mountains, near the town of La Bresse in the Grand Est region of France. This 10-hectare lake sits at an altitude of 909 meters and is known for its distinctive peat bog, which is dry on the upstream side and wet or submerged on the downstream side. This unique environment supports a diverse range of flora and fauna, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts. The lake was formed by glacial activity and is fed by the Chajoux River, a tributary of the Moselotte. A well-maintained, easy trail loops around the lake, providing a pleasant 1.8 to 3 km walk for visitors of all ages.
