From the ferry terminal in Vaiare, head south towards the main road (Route de la Cote). Walk along the road for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Route de Pihaena. Continue straight for another 2 km. You will see signs pointing towards Plage Publique de Papehue. Follow the signs for approximately 500 meters until you arrive at the beach.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the ferry terminal in Vaiare. Head south on Route de la Cote for about 1 km. At the intersection with Route de Pihaena, continue straight on Route de la Cote for another 2 km. Look for the signs for Plage Publique de Papehue. Turn towards the beach and cycle for about 500 meters to reach your destination.

From the ferry terminal in Vaiare, catch a local bus heading towards Puna'auia. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Plage Publique de Papehue. The bus will take you along Route de la Cote. After approximately 20 minutes, you'll arrive near the beach. Follow the signs for a short walk of around 500 meters to reach the beach itself.
