Taxi
From Faa'a International Airport (PPT), a taxi is a convenient way to reach Tahiti Parapente's usual meeting points in Puna'auia. The ride typically takes around 7-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay approximately 1,909 XPF (€16) during the day and 2,510 XPF (€21) at night for up to four passengers. Be sure the driver resets the meter, which should start around 1,000 XPF.
Public Transport
The local bus system offers an affordable way to travel from Faa'a Airport to Puna'auia. Buses depart approximately every 20 minutes from the airport. The journey takes around 15 minutes to reach Puna'auia. While the bus fare is significantly cheaper than a taxi, factor in potential wait times and the need to transfer to reach the specific Tahiti Parapente meeting point. Bus fares within Puna'auia are around 130 XPF (US$1.60) until 6 PM and 200 XPF (US$2.50) after 6 PM.
