Starting from downtown Papeete, head towards the waterfront along Boulevard Pomare. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Alliance. Turn left onto Rue de l'Alliance and follow it until you reach the main road, Boulevard de la Reine Pomare IV. At this point, you can either continue walking along the boulevard or follow the signs leading towards Mount Aorai to guide you towards Magic Mountain Overlook.

From the central bus station in Papeete, take a bus heading towards Faaa. Look for buses that have stops at 'Aorai' or 'Magic Mountain' in their route information. After about 20-30 minutes, get off the bus at the nearest stop to Boulevard de la Reine Pomare IV. Once you disembark, you will have a short walk to the entry point of the trail leading to Magic Mountain Overlook.
