Getting There

• Walking

  MANUA Exquisite Tahitian Art is located along Papeete's waterfront, making it easily accessible on foot from most downtown hotels and the ferry terminal. From the ferry terminal, walk south along Boulevard Pomare towards the city center. The gallery is situated along the waterfront promenade. Allow 5-10 minutes walking time from most central locations. There are no costs associated with walking.

• Public Transport

  Papeete has a public bus system that serves the city and surrounding areas. Check local bus routes and schedules to see if there is a bus stop near your location and the gallery. Buses that travel along the waterfront will be the most convenient. A one-way bus fare is approximately 450 XPF. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the gallery.

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available in Papeete. You can hail a taxi from the street or find them at designated taxi stands, such as the one at Centre Vaima. A short taxi ride within downtown Papeete will likely cost around 1,500 XPF. Ensure the driver agrees to the fare before starting the ride. Note that fares increase by at least 20% from 8 PM to 6 AM.

• Driving

  If driving, paid street parking is available in downtown Papeete. Parking costs 100 XPF per hour from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at shops and newsstands displaying 'Parc Chec' signs. Alternatively, you can park in one of the public parking lots such as Place Pomare or Place Tarahoi, which costs 100 XPF for the first hour and 100 XPF for each additional half-hour. A day pass costs 1,000 XPF. Be aware that parking can be scarce during the day.
