Walking
If you are starting from the Papeete Market (Mercado de Papeete), exit the market and head south on Rue du Général de Gaulle. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la République. Turn left onto Avenue de la République and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will see signs directing you to Place Jacques Chirac, which is located on your right. The square is situated across from the waterfront, making it a pleasant walk.
