Getting There

Boat

Y AKA Plongée is located in Tiputa, which is separated from the main island of Rangiroa (where the airport is located) by the Tiputa Pass. After arriving at Rangiroa Airport, take a taxi to the Ohotu quay. From there, a local taxi boat will take you across the Tiputa Pass to Tiputa village. Y AKA Plongée is a short distance from the Tiputa dock. Most dive operators, including Y AKA Plongée, will pick you up from your accommodation in Tiputa. Taxis from the airport to the Ohotu quay cost around 600 XPF. The taxi boat across the Tiputa Pass costs approximately 300 XPF per person. Be sure to have cash on hand for both fares.
