Bicycle
From your accommodation in Rangiroa, rent a bicycle and head toward the main road (Route de l'Atlantique). Follow this road straight for about 10 kilometers. As you approach the Tiputa village, look for signs directing you towards the Tiputa Pass. The route is scenic, with views of the lagoon on one side and lush greenery on the other. Once you reach the village, you will see the entrance to the Tiputa Pass area where you can park your bike and enjoy the view.

If you prefer walking, start from the center of Rangiroa village. Head southeast on the main path until you reach Route de l'Atlantique. Continue walking along this road for approximately 10 kilometers. Be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks, as the sun can be strong. Once you reach the Tiputa village, follow any directional signs leading you to the Tiputa Pass. This walking route offers a great opportunity to enjoy the local scenery and wildlife.
