If you are near the village of Avatoru, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by heading south on the main road, Route de l'Atoll. Continue straight for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and guesthouses along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating Les relais de Joséphine, which will be on your right side. The guesthouse is set back from the road, so you may need to enter a short gravel driveway.

Walking
From the center of Avatoru, walk towards the main road heading south. This is Route de l'Atoll. It’s about a 30-minute walk, covering around 2.5 kilometers. Along the way, you will see beautiful views of the lagoon to your right. Look for signs directing you to Les relais de Joséphine, which will be on your right. The entrance is slightly set back from the road, so be observant as you approach.

Boat
If you are staying on one of the neighboring motus (islets), arrange for a local boat to take you to Avatoru. Once you arrive at the dock in Avatoru, head to Route de l'Atoll. Walk south along the main road for about 3 kilometers. Look for the sign for Les relais de Joséphine on your right. The guesthouse is just off the main road, so be careful to watch for the entrance.
