Local tips
- Start your hike early (around 5 am) to avoid the heat and increase your chances of reaching the summit before cloud cover obstructs the views.
- Bring plenty of water (3-4 liters per person) and snacks to stay hydrated and energized throughout the demanding hike.
- Wear appropriate hiking gear, including sturdy hiking shoes, long pants to protect against thorny bushes, and warm layers as temperatures can drop at higher altitudes.
- Consider using a walking stick for balance and stability on steep inclines and slippery sections of the trail.
