Car
If you're driving, start from the main town of Pā'ea. Navigate to the main road (Route 2) heading south. Continue on Route 2 for approximately 2 kilometers until you see the sign for Marae Ta'ata. The site is located at 8CJ5+RFF, which is easily accessible from the main road. There is no parking fee, but ensure you park in designated areas.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus that services Pā'ea. Buses typically run every hour, so check the schedule at your departure point. Inform the driver you wish to stop at Marae Ta'ata. The fare is usually around 300 XPF (Pacific Franc), and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes from the nearest bus stop. Once you arrive, you may need to walk approximately 200 meters to the site.
Walking
If you are already in Pā'ea and prefer to walk, head towards Route 2 from the center of town. Walk along the road heading south for about 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating Marae Ta'ata. The walk is scenic, but be cautious of traffic as there are no dedicated sidewalks.
