Train
The most common way to reach Lopé National Park is by taking the Trans-Gabon Railway from Libreville. The train departs from Owendo Station, about 9 km south of Libreville. A taxi from Libreville city center to Owendo Station costs approximately CFA3,000-5,000. The train journey to Lopé takes around 6-7 hours. First-class tickets are recommended for comfort. Taxi
From Lambaréné, you can hire a taxi to Lopé National Park. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on road conditions. It is essential to negotiate the fare with the driver before starting the journey. Expect to pay around CFA 20,000-30,000 for a one-way trip. Taxis can be found at the main bus terminal in Lambaréné.
