Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the central square of Akhaltsikhe, known as Tsereteli Square. From there, head southeast towards the main street, Tsereteli Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kakhaber Street. Turn left onto Kakhaber Street. After approximately 700 meters, you will come to the bus station. At the bus station, catch a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Tskaltbila. The fare is usually around 1-2 GEL.

    Once you board the minibus to Tskaltbila, it will take around 20-30 minutes to reach your destination. Inform the driver that you want to go to Jakismani Monastery, and they will drop you off at a suitable location. The minibus will likely stop near the village center of Tskaltbila.
