Getting There

Taxi

From Ozurgeti, taxis are readily available to take you to Gomismta. The 17 km journey takes about 1-1.5 hours on unpaved roads. Negotiate the fare beforehand, as prices can vary. Expect to pay around 50-70 GEL for a one-way trip.
Driving

If driving from Tbilisi, take the E60 highway towards Batumi, then follow signs to Ozurgeti. From Ozurgeti, follow the unpaved road towards Gomismta. Any vehicle can manage the road, but 4x4 is recommended. Be aware that the road is often closed in winter due to heavy snowfall. Parking is available near the cottages, and is free.
