Public Transport
From Tbilisi, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Gori from Didube Bus Station. The journey costs around 4 GEL and takes approximately 1.5 hours. From Gori bus station, take another marshrutka to the village of Kvakhvreli, near Uplistsikhe. This costs about 2 GEL and takes 20 minutes. From Kvakhvreli, it's a 2 kilometer walk to the museum-reserve. Alternatively, take a taxi from Gori to Uplistsikhe for approximately 35 GEL round trip, including waiting time.

From Gori, head southwest on the main road towards Uplistsikhe Complex Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Look for signs for Uplistsikhe Museum-Reserve. Parking is available near the entrance. Parking fees may apply, typically around 2-5 GEL.

If you are already in Uplistsikhe village, start at the village square. Walk west towards the main road and turn left onto Uplistsikhe Complex Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. The museum-reserve will be on your right. The walk is scenic and allows you to enjoy the local landscape.
