From Gudauri, take the E117 road heading south toward Tbilisi. Continue for approximately 120 kilometers, which should take around 2 hours. As you approach Tbilisi, take the exit toward the city center. Follow the signs to Azeula Fortress, which is located at JMRR+6QH, Azeula St, Tbilisi. There is no direct parking at the fortress, so you may need to park in nearby streets and walk to the site.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Azeula Fortress from Gudauri using public transportation, you will first need to head to the nearest bus station. Take a marshrutka (minibus) from Gudauri to Tbilisi. The marshrutkas generally leave from the main road near the Gudauri lift. The ride to Tbilisi takes about 2 hours and costs around 10 GEL. Once you arrive at the Tbilisi bus station, you can take bus number 380 from Baratashvili Street towards Azeula. The bus fare is approximately 1 GEL. Get off at the closest stop to Azeula Fortress and walk a short distance to the site.
