Driving
If driving from Tbilisi, take the highway towards Tetritskaro. Once in Tetritskaro, follow local signs towards Kiketi and then to Kabeni Monastery. The monastery is located near the village of Kiketi in the Asuretistskali Gorge. Be aware that some roads may be unpaved or have limited signage in English. Parking is available near the monastery. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transport
To reach Kabeni Monastery via public transport, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi to Tetritskaro. From Tetritskaro, you may need to take a local taxi or walk to Kiketi and then to the monastery, as direct transport to Kabeni is limited. The marshrutka from Tbilisi to Tetritskaro costs approximately 5-10 GEL. A taxi from Tetritskaro to Kabeni Monastery may cost an additional 15-20 GEL. Remember to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.
