Public Transport
From Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), the most convenient way to reach the Truso Valley start point is by shuttle bus. Mountain Freaks operates daily shuttles to Kvemo Okrokana, the village closest to the start of the hiking trail. The shuttle costs approximately 55 GEL per person for a round trip. Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and can take you to the Truso Valley start point. A round trip taxi to Kvemo Okrokana will cost approximately 80-100 GEL. Negotiate the price with the driver beforehand and arrange for them to wait for you or pick you up at a designated time. The drive takes around 30-40 minutes.
