You will see signs for Petra Fortress as you approach the area. Turn off the E70 when you see the signs for the fortress, which will guide you to the parking area. There may be a small parking fee, typically around 2 GEL.

For those using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Ozurgeti to Batumi, which runs frequently throughout the day. The fare is typically around 5 GEL. Once you arrive in Batumi, transfer to a local marshrutka heading towards Makhinjauri or Kvariati. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop for Petra Fortress. From the drop-off point, it is a short walk (about 15 minutes) to the entrance of the fortress. Ensure to check the marshrutka schedules as they may vary throughout the day.
