If you are driving, start from Kutaisi, which is approximately 30 km away from Ubisa. Take the E60 highway towards Tbilisi and then exit towards the village of Ubisa. Follow the signs to Ubisa village. Upon entering Ubisa, follow the road signs to St. George’s Church and Monastery. The church is located at the coordinates 42.0996265, 43.2281046, and you should see the monastery from the main road.

From Kutaisi, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) to Ubisa. Marshrutkas leave regularly from the central bus station in Kutaisi. The ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Ubisa, ask the driver to drop you off near St. George’s Church. The monastery is a short walk from the drop-off point. Keep in mind that marshrutka fares are typically around 1-2 GEL.
