From any location in Imereti, you can drive to Uplistsikhe. If you're starting from Kutaisi, take the E60 highway heading east. After approximately 70 km, take the exit towards Gori. Continue on the road for about 15 km until you reach the town of Gori. From Gori, follow the signs towards Uplistsikhe, which is about 10 km away. The route will lead you through scenic landscapes. Once you arrive at Uplistsikhe Complex Road, you will find the entrance to the historical site. Make sure to have cash on hand for parking fees, which may vary, but typically range from 2 to 5 GEL.

From Kutaisi, head to the main bus station and take a marshrutka (minibus) heading to Gori. The ride takes about 1 hour and costs around 7 GEL. Once you reach Gori, you can take another marshrutka heading to Uplistsikhe, which is a short ride of approximately 15 minutes and costs about 2 GEL.
