Car
If driving from Chiatura, head towards Sachkhere. The convent is located approximately 2 km from the center of Chiatura. Follow the road, and look for signs indicating Mgvimevi Convent. The entrance to the convent is easy to miss, marked only by a small sign. There is no gas station in the town of Chiatura itself, but you will find two at the exit if you are heading towards Sachkhere and before reaching the Mgvimevi convent. No tolls are required.

From Chiatura, take a taxi to Mgvimevi Convent. The ride is short and should cost approximately 5-10 GEL. Alternatively, you can walk from the center of Chiatura, which takes about 25 minutes. From Kutaisi, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Chiatura from the station in Kutaisi. In total it takes about 2 hours and costs 12 lari.
