Drive carefully as the roads can be winding. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Barisakho. From here, continue on the same road towards Shatili for about 20 km. Look out for signs directing you towards Datvisjvari Pass. You may need to park your car at a designated parking spot and walk the last portion to the pass, which is about 1 km on foot.

First, find a local minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Zhinvali from Khevi. The marshrutkas usually leave from the central station in Khevi. The trip to Zhinvali takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Zhinvali, you can either hire a taxi or look for another marshrutka that goes towards Barisakho. If available, take this marshrutka, which should take approximately 30 minutes.
